Once the blood of the patient has been drawn, a centrifuge is used to separate the PRP. Calcium Chloride is added in some systems to activate the platelets. Other brands do not activate the platelets believing the body will do it once it is injected or absorbed into the body. An injection or topical application is used to get the PRP into the scalp where there is hair loss. This injection stimulates the existing hair and promotes the growth of new hair.

You will also get a dose of Viviscal supplements to take over the course of three months. The whole process should take no longer than one hour for each session.
